how do i set the timing on a diesel pump on my 1999 vw lt35?

can anyone help me please,i just found out that i have snapped the timing belt on my diesel pump.i have a 1999 vw lt35 tdi,can anyone give any advice on how i do the the timing for the diesel pump.many thanks.
