Shower Skirt?

Hi I got a stone cast shower base which was placed on a raised support however the base didn't come with a skirt to cover the gap.
I have looked int he usual places and not been able to find anything, does anyone have any suggestion, advice or recomendations? Many thanks

I usually make up a hardwood surround for these applications -generally from oak, it varnishes or stains well. Normal softwood would do too - so long as it is painted - but not MDF or chipboard as they delaminate if wet. Plywood isn't the answer either.
