tumble dryer hotpoint CTDOOP?

hi i have got a hotpoint CTDOOP tumble dryer when its on there is know heat at all .i think its thermostat or heat element not sure which can you help.

We have been ripped off by Hotpoint! All these models are breaking down. Mine was only 2 years old.Hotpoint do not even bother to try repairing them, it is some sort of condenser problem. My local repairer tried to fix it but when he rang Hotpoint that is what they told him.

You got the diagnosis right, well done! Only way to be sure which is to check these with a multimeter. Or...replace both.
