Gardtec alarm has this message displayed: Control box tamp 'check', how do I reset it?

I have an "A F Fault Check" on my Gardtecs lcd, and alarm noise from the lcd keypad unit, not the main alarm sound, the system was here when i moved into this council flat, how do i deactivate the system for good, i know it has an anti tamper system

the tamper switch in side your panel is open take the front cover off your panel (a white box were all your alarm cables go back to) and you will see a spring sticking out of the pcb (alarm board) give it a pull just to open it up a bit (if it cums off just give it a push back on. it easily go's back on) now when you screw the panel lid back on you should here a click thats the spring pushing on the lid closing the tamper switch. then go to your keypad but your code in on till it says do you want to set you press yes if it starts to set put your code in again to turn it off it will go to the time and date thats it jobs fixed. but if you go to set it and it says cant set Control box tamp you have not opened up the spring enough thats why you must here it click when you but the panel lid on. the alarm will go off when you are working with the tamper switch just put your user code in that will shut it up you do not have to do this it is only if you want to stop the noise when working with the tamper switch

Before refitting the lid, check that the tamper spring is correctly positioned and closed the micro switch when the lid is pushed int position.
