My 1.6 vvti, 4dr saloon, 54plate Renault Megane priviledge, does not start very well in the mornings. The drive belt squeals and when you touch the throttle the car cuts out. I have turned auto lights and all other electrical items off, it is now in the garage and it still does it. How do I make it start and stay running? Help ! !

on the diag computer does it log up dephasser fault or
thoothed belt error.
if so it requires a new dephasser pulley, timing belt and
camshaft sensor. this requires a specialist fitting as it is not just a case of putting a pulley and belt on. as valve damage can occurr.
if it does not have the above faults remove vacuum pipe on the throttle body and spray with carburretta
cleaner .refit pipe and start with full throttle
