My hob flashes E on all display surfaces when swiched on with a pan of liquid in place. Pan is of suitable size for hob ring. Work surface is clean and no 'object' has been placed on it. If it is switched on first and the pan then placed on the ring it works OK!
The hob is two years and two months old. Planned obsolescence or what!!!!
