potterton puma 80?

My Potterton Puma 80 is about 8 years old and has burned the pcb where the boiler + central heating switches connect to the pcb. Is this likely to be down to a pcb fault or could it be caused by something else ?

The pilot is lit but the central heating does not work, the hot water works fine. Any suggestions

Soldered one of the top corners a couple of years ago - the board is burned beyond repair this time. I have now replaced the pcb and 2 plugs one from the central heating switch and the other from the boiler switch as they were also damaged. Heating is now running fine - thanks for your reply Rob

This is probably a dry joint on the board, check the neutral and live connections on the top left of the board as u look at it. You will probably find the neutral has a bad connection and needs soldering or replace the PCB if its really bad. Not to say its not another component causing the problem.
