My mate has my old mondeo 97 Ghia X auto.
There is a panal on the dash board that shows the service now due sign. This I Know how to put the wire in to turn it off.The problem we have is that a light has now appeared in the same panel that has now come on for a very short time twice,at start up.
The sign looks like a radiator with a fan in the middle,its so quick its a job to get a good look at.
The rad is full of water and never require filling up.Just dont know what the sign is for. Not in the hand book

The car has never given problems with the water before and as I said the water level is on the mark.I will check the wiring out on Monday.
I owned the car myself for seven years and have never seen this warning light before,and it is not in the hand book or the manual. Thank you again for answering this question for us.

sounds like a wireing fault if it don't need any water as it's a header tank warning light if the water goes below a level if not wiring then a faulty senser .
