My Hoover WDM washing machine is not spinning and draining the water, could the brushes need replacing?

yes sounds like the brushes, I fixed them on my washing machine but you have to be careful as they can break when putting the new ones in, you could take the motor off and ask the parts shop to put them in for you, lynda
