Loose red wire on a Hoover/Candy TV630?

Ok not really a question more of an answer. Resently a rogue screw fell behind my filter and ended up in the mortor fan. After scooping it out and putting the dryer back togther, I noticed a single red wire just sat there doing nothing. The dryer didn't heat up so I had my heater element and thermostat tested, all were fine. After several days of a dismantled dryer and putting all clothes on my radiator I searched on here for the answer. But nothing came to light. I thought the wire came off the pbc (yellow circuit board), but no it should only have 4 wires and it did. Eventually I worked out the single red wire runs from the top of the machine to the thermostat behind the filter, back up to the high/low switch and so on. I decided that it was either have a go and may have to buy a new dryer or leave it and still have to buy a new dryer. I popped the single red wire onto the the timer llast clip on right. Low and behold the dryer is working and heating yey. Good luck to anyone who has had problems with their dryer, I hope I helped someone :O)
