Indesit WIL163S will not start?

The On/Off Door Lock lamp (3 times per sec) & the Delay Timer & Stain Removal lamps (once per sec) are flashing. Machine will not start.

The book says this means "... there is an abnormality", whatever that means.

How do I 'reset' the thing please?

OK, I guess no one knows anything about this machine.
Maybe an easier question... anyone have a number for Indesit please? The manual says 'call for assistence' but gives no number anywhere.
