Intermittent Starting Problem Fiat Ducato 1.9TDi?

Sometimes does NOTHING when key turned, but not battery problem, and will start with a bump - other times starts first time no problem. Has been in garage 5 times and they cannot find a fault. Have fitted new starter motor and solenoid, new ignition switch. Have had by-pass original power and relays fitted. Still happening intermittently. Does anyone have any idea what this problem is PLEASE !!!

Had the same problem with my ducato 1.9D, turned out to be ignition lock barrel, you can clean them, but much easier to buy a new one.
Hope this helps
