KEY CAN'T BE REMOVED FROM IGNITION EVEN IN PARK. IREPLACED CYLINDER AND NEW?

I CAN'T REMOVE MY KEY FROM THE IGNITION OR LOCK MY STEERING WHEEL. I REPLACED THE CYLINDER AND THE NEW ONE WILL NOT RELEASE THE KEY EITHER.
