How can I fix my c4 glove box?

How can I fix my citroen C4 2005 glove box? It's jammed and I need to release it without damaging the car. Allegedly this is a common problem. Please help!!

Had exactly the same problem on Saturday with my 2005 C4, I followed some advice I got off the Internet ie, give the glove box a firm bang with the side of your fist just to the right hand side of the lever. It opened straight away.

just have to pull on the handle like you never pulled before! it will open all of a sudden.
