Hoses were connected up wrong and machine only washed on hot,changed hoses over to right way but machine will not switch on

Doesn't make sense. Just changing the hot & cold hoses over will not do anything to make it not work. When you say it won't switch on, do you get lights come on when you press power on switch? If so what happens when you press start/pause? Any noises or any activity at all?
