aprilia rs 125 running occasionally flat?

my aprilia seems to have some issues with running completely flat sometimes,no power at all and wont rev enough to go in to 5th or 6th gear but then can completely clear and run fine, i don't think its carb issue cause i keep cleaning it with no change to problem? any ideas??

Try checking that the powervalve isnt sticking. happened on mine and eventually snapped the shaft off of the valve
