I have had to reset it a good few times and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

I thought so....dealer part then. Its unusual for them not to reset once the top is pressed down though. Done that a good few times, but have never needed to renew them.

it is for a peugeot 206. i have tried searching the internet and cant find anyone that supply them.

This is usually a dealer part, but some motor factors may supply.....you have to be very precise about the make, model and age of the car though.
