Hi ChicksFan,origanally replaced MAF to cure a "Pinking" problem which it did,but did not cure the hesitating through the rev range,at this time, the engine tickover was ok,Put it on a diaagnostic machine,no codes or faults were found. The guy suggested cleaning throttlebody,so i removed it from the car,and cleaned the gundge from the Butterfly and guaze, then re-fitted to car,now the surging started,so contacted the guy who suggested replacing throttle body sensor, aquired one at great cost, fitted it,no difference.I did not diconnect the battery whilst unpluging the throttle body, could the ECU be cofused,LIKE ME. Regards Pete. Ps,MAF was not Bosch.
