This is not true, electronic circuits can work fine after being dried for a few days on a radiator or in the airing cupboard (I have fixed dozens of laptops this way after water damage) they often need stripping and cleaning afterwards though, you will also need a new battery!

For complete drying / cleaning you can send your phone to my shop, details can be found at www.preselicomputing.co.uk

Buy another one. The electronics inside the phone rust/corrode and this is irreversible. Sometimes they start working for a short time when they are dried out but if this happens, get your stored pictures and music off while you can because it WILL stop working again. Do not believe anyone who says that they can repair it if it has been left for more than a few hours. To have any chance of repair it would have had to have been stripped down and cleaned/dried within a couple of hours. This would have to be done professionally because there are areas of the circuit board that really take some drying out.
