The fan has stopped working in my belling cooker, the elements still work?

The fan in my belling cooker (model 643SS) has stopped working, but the elements are still working. How do I fix the fan?

Hi

We had a very similar problem with our Belling 334WH. I'm not sure how similar your model is in design to ours but one day we turned on the fan oven and the fan wasn't spinning although the heating element was still OK. A new fan can vary in price but expect to pay around £40-50. I didn't actually change ours because I got it to work again as the blade was suffering with an accumulation of cooking fats stopping the fans rotation. NOTE: TURN OFF AT MAINS BEFORE STARTING. I dismantled the backplate (a few screws and lifted it off) in the oven and unbolted the fan blade and gave it a clean and sprayed (very carefully) WD40 on the blade wheel to help it rotate. Try searching on eBay for competitive prices for new fans if you can't get yours to work again and watch this video for extra help about dismantling the fan.

Hope this helps.
