how to demobilise the car?

I have replaced the battery in my key fob, but it will not work the doors or demobilise the engine. I know there is a sequence of clicks on the fob, but I cant remember them. Rover cabriolet, N reg

There seems to be a few different methods for these cars, thanks for posting one that definitely works!

I can answer my own question, as I have just worked it ou. Should it help any one else, once you have tried and not been successful, leave the car for a couple of hours, the unlock the car door with the key, and then press the lock butoon on your fob 4 times fast and it will release the immobiliser
