How to fix Triton Besique 9.5 shower/pull switch?

I have a 5 year old Triton Besique 9.5 shower. When originally installed, new heavy duty wiring and fuses were installed to cater for the power of the shower. Everything was working fine yesterday. However, the power on/off pull switch neon light hasn't come on this morning. Though the switch does flick to the on/off position when pulled. Thinking it was just a failed neon bulb I tried the shower anyway. No power and no water coming through. The main trip switch is still in the "on" position, so that hasn't blown and I can't reset that. I've test that each week to ensure it would flick off and it is working ok. As I know nothing about this sort of thing and generally have to call in the professionals, I would appreciate any ideas of what could be wrong before I call in an electrician. Many thanks.

Sounds like the "Pull Switch" is broken. If you have made sure your MCB in the consumer unit is OK and you say you regularily test the RCD, then the only other thing it could be is the Pull Switch, unless there is a break in the wiring somewhere.
