vauxhall cavalier 1.7td?

can anyone tell me where the breakswitch is located on car as i have no brake lights
julie, October 2009
1,7td oil is leaking every where it looks like it coming from the alternarter is the oil pump or a oil pipe around that area

on the cav 1.7td the brake light switch is located against the brake pedal, with switch facing the pedal so pointing down easy to replace ,if i recall 1 nut securing and 2 cables connected (switch circuit) a garage can do this in 5 mins a new switch cost roughly £5.00

My windscreen washers are not working. I replaced the pump last year from a scrap dealer, though I was not sure whether that was necessary. How do you diagnose the problem?
