transit timing?

could any one tell me what the timing mark ,slot ,hole or what ever it is looks like on the flywheel, having trouble locating it , took starter motor off to get a better look , found a flat where on fly wheel, i no how to time engine just need to locate right place on flywheel, van is 55redg 135ps tdci

its a slot and it's 50 degrees BTDC.

i no where the timiming pin goes in cranshaft sensor its the fly wheel position where the pin locates into i cant find this position , i took starter off to have a better look, can only find a flat on flywheel, but its a least an inch wide

timing pin fits where crank position sensor fits [on bell housing about 5 past when looking from rear of g/box towards front] ,hope this helps.
