the clip in my peogot speedfight2 kickstart came off and bent all out of shape av got another but need 2 no does it face the engine or the casing and where does it locate

put kickstart shaft in casing. then fit washer,then fit circlip over shaft till it sits into groove on shaft. then fit kickstart.
