How do I remove the cover on my Triton Opal electric shower?

The water temperature is falling and with it the pressure.
This is a hard water area and I imagine that the unit is clogging up with limescale.
How easy is it to replace the heating unit and is there anything else that will need replacing?

there are 3 screws 2 on top 1 under the outlet

I don't know about changing the heater Alan but the cover has 2 screws on the top, remove them and it should come off OK.
