oven does not produce full heat?

Our New World Q4 oven does not produce full heat. The pilot light works and the gas then increases to a maximum of 155F/ 50C.
Any ideas?

Hello,

If you are unable to get your TI New World Gas Cooker Q4 model fixed, would you be willing to trade on some parts ?

I am missing a gas burner cap - removal man lost it in house move!

It is a TI New World Gas Cooker Q4 (has Brown Glass splashback leading up to the plate warmer. It also has brown glass front with clock and Q4 logo at grill lights etc. Rest of cooker white enamel.

Like you, I'd rather mend or fix this excellent gas cooker as opposed to replacing it with some new inferior model.

It was the top of the range TI New World cooker of its day and the cooker has been providing excellent service for more than 25 years, without any problems, other than its missing burner cap!

Hope you can get your problem fixed but if not, most grateful if you could please give consideration to parting with a burner cap and for future, maybe other parts too.

Please email me on mpactnow at yahoo.co.uk (Use the ambersand symbol rather than 'at')

Best
