My indesit washing machine is sticking?

We have just moved house and my machine seems to have just become tempremental. It is sticking on a wash program and just goes on for hours and hours!!! i have to to manually stop it and put it on a rinse. This happens with all the programs? Help?

Your machine has a fault in the heater circuit, most probably the element itself. When this happens the machine will continue to wash into infinity.
