Hi havin a real problem with older style myson boiler ,it keeps boiling it to expantion tank (steam filling the loft space, i have changed the pump ,the tank stat and now the boiler stat seamed ok for about 30 mins until i turned the heating down on the wall stat and then steam and water in to the expanstion tank

any advise/help would be great

Hi changed bolier stat today still seems to be overheating and sending hot water/steam into the loft anyother ideas

change the boiler state sounds as long as the heating is running it is taking the heat away from the boiler, heating off boiler boiles.
The old Myson M were good boilers not much to go wrong a easy to fix.
