My electric fan oven element won't turn off?

I have a Cannon Professional 1000 range cooker (gas hob, electric ovens). The problem is that when I turn the fan oven off, the fan stops but the element stays on. The orange/yellow bulb which indicates the oven is on also stays lit. I have to keep switching the oven off at the mains isolation. It is about 4 yrs old, and I replaced the same element about 6 months ago as it had burnt out.

hi guys, i seem to have the same problem as well. Only way to solve it seems to swithc the cooker of at the mains and then not interfere with the clock system once switched back on. Clearly some electrical fault inside... Aghh.. expensive elections is not what i need right now.

Still no answer, but as the Christmas period is now here, i will have to attack our oven problem head on, and call in the (expensive ) experts .
Just before i do, has anyone managed to find out anything further about these cannon ovens NOT turning off ?
Last desperate plea

No, still waiting for an answer. Probably have to call out a service fitter.

Sorry, no answer to this problem, but i just wanted to let you know that you are not alone . I changed our fan oven element about 12 months ago on our cannon professional 1000 and 2 weeks ago the same has happened as yours . The fan turns on and off, but the element stays on until the main isolation is tuned off . Have you found anything out since your posting ? Thanks .
