Belling Lower Oven Door Won't Stay Closed! Help!!!?

Any idea how the springs work on a Belling 90XOU oven work, the lower oven/grill door has broken and now it won't stay closed, i have taken it apart but can't see any method to keep it closed.]

Cheers,

This is an old thread but I thought the info could be useful for someone. The springs that hold the door shut are in the main body of the oven. They are at the bottom front on either side and are accessible via holes on either side of the oven once it has been pulled a few inches out of its cabinet. Mine had broken where the end of the spring hooks over the end of the oven door stays; having bent them around a bit with pliers, I managed to hook them back on. N.B.: The oven is quite heavy and will try to fall out of its cabinet completely once pulled out unless suitable steps are taken to prevent it from doing this! You have been warned...
