I have the seemingly common problem of the airbag warning light flashing on my 02 1.8SE Almera. I've tried the ignition on/off sequence listed in other posts but to no avail. Does anyone know if this fix def works for 2002 models?
You could of course actually have a fault in an airbag...

I should add, I've tried the 5-4-3-2-1 sequence with the ignition 3 times, then the warning light comes on steady for a short period, goes out then flashes twice. How do I get the damn thing to stay out permanently??
