If its a GM product its proably the fuel pump ...could also be a anti theft problem shutting down the fuel pump>?

You could have a blocked fuel pump/filter/s an air lock or kink somewhere in the fuel line or if you have modern fuel system it may well be the fuel cut off valve is stuck shut. hope this can help you.
