I knocked the pendulum off the back of the grandfather clock ,reset the pendulum and raised the wieghts (3) the clock runs for about 15 to 30 minutes and stops ,i start the pendulum and the same thing again . a clock repair shop wants $500.00 to come fix it. I had it service 2years ago for $400.00 .I don't want to spend that much if i don't have to

You have done one or several things wrong. You may have broken the suspension spring that the pendulum hangs from, you may have failed to put the pendulum leader through the crutch properly, or you may have just knocked it out of beat. Find an owners manual for any grandfather clock and it should show you the proper assembly of the suspension system, how to replace the suspension spring, how to hang the pendulum leader and how to put it back into beat.
