i have indesit wil163 w/machine when i switch on and start washing within short time red lite goes out an i cant use it what can problem be

I think it's a scandal, these machines are not 'fit for purpose'. mine is just the same an has been in the garage as I try to fix it. Think the electronics are suspect.
