How can I unlock my Creda Schott Ceran hob?

I have just moved into a house with a Creda Schott Ceran ceramic hob installed, but I have no idea how to bring it to life. It has a power switch which if I hold my finger on it lights up a tiny red light next to it, but nothing else happens. there is a key symbol button next to it which I assume is a lock of some kind, then below these are 8 semi circular shapes which I guess are the controls for the plates.

There is nothing on the hob in terms of a model number and I don't have a manual but I do have some pictures if they will help.

Thanks

Hi

Sorry I cannot help, I am the same I have just moved into a home with a schott ceran ceramic hob, (do not know which make) with no instructions left for me.
I cannot switch this on, when I put the main power on a red light in a lock symbol comes on for a few seconds and that is it. If I hold this it stays on as long as I hold. If I press another symbol such as minus , it goes out, but if I press the 4th hob button the number changes to 6, but only stays as long as I hold, then after a short while goes out. the two hob buttons for burners on the left show the character A in one and F in the other. I have not been able to gain any info off the web. please help.
