I have had a problem with the interlock on my Hoover CA 230 and removed and replaced it. I now seem to have stupidly got the three wires connected wrong because the door will open when full and the machine won't drain.
How can I find out where the two brown and one white wire should be on the three termianls?

Any help appreciated!

Just to add - the draining problem was a red herring. Because I had laid the machine on its side a load of junk, coins etc. had escaped the trap and blocked the pump.

OK I am answering my own question in case it helps someone else.
White to connector 3, browns to 4 and 5. If the machine refuses to do anything unplug and swap the browns.
