Can I use cold water only on my Hoover Ultracare 1500?

I am moving my Hoover Ultracare 1500 into my utility room but there's only a cold water point in there. There's hot and cold connections but just want to know whether it will work just as well with just cold.

You can buy a "Y" adapter from your local plumbing store/B&Q which will allow you to connect your hot and cold pipes from ur machine to the one feed.Should only cost a couple of pounds.
