Frigidaire FWT449GFS1 drum?

After loud banging and sopping wet clothes at end of wash cycle I thought I had a drain pump problem (and did get several dollars in change and various odds&ends from the "coin catcher"). Unfortunately, it appears that the REAL problem is that the drum is out of place. It looks to be about 5" low on the right-hand side. The shock absorber on that side seems to be securely attached, but is laying at about a 30-degree angle off horizontal, whereas the other one is roughly vertical. Has the shock absorber failed, or is there some spring or other attachment at the top (which I can't see) that may have broken and is causing the drum to be hanging lopsided?
Either way, what do I need to do to get this up and running again?
Thanks for any help on this.
