Have exactly the same problem, although mine doesnt need resetting. Did you manage to resolve it?

Not sure if this is what you mean, but if you're trying to reset the oven after a power cut or whatever, you need to set the time before anything will work.

To do this, press 'Minute Minder' + 'Cook Period' simultaneously. With these buttons pressed, use the + and - buttons to set the time.

Intuitive innit?
