escort 1.8d timing belt?

are the valves interference type or do they miss the pistons?
nobby, October 2009
Sorry to say if your timing belt has broke it will have bent valve's and pos snapped cam shaft and they have a habit of cracking the cylinder head..

Carl Verity, October 2009
The valves are definately interferance and will not miss the pistons and will more than likely seriously damage the cylinder head if timing belt fails and probably snap the camshaft as well

tony (garage owner), October 2009
Two belts to do on these and its an interference engine.
