If so what is it?
The lamp may have gon but there are a number of things that ned to be checked, so lets start at the beginng by finding out if you have an error code.

Is the Scan lamp coming on ?
Probably not, It will be either the lamp gone open circuit or the heat fuse at the front end of it gone o/c,
