Why isn't our drum turning on the hotpoint first edition 1000?

Everything seems to work electrically and we have just replaced the brushes recently for the motor worked perfectly for a few weeks and stopped today
Do these machines have a belt operation to rotate the drum as this is all it can be without taking it apart.

There is a belt that goes from the motor to the drum...didn't you see it when you did the motor brushes? The belt has probably snapped...if you move the machine it will probably fall out the bottom.
