Tumble Dryer Blowing Fuses - any idea why?

Water seems to be collecting in the element section at the rear of our condensing tumble dryer - it is either water or condensation? Not Sure which
I can not see how water from main unit would end up in the section of machine. But when the fan that blows the hot air in to unit to dry 'flicks' water on to the heating elements the unit blows the fuse on the main fuse box to the house.
If I dry out the heating element compartment it will start and work again for a while before the same happens.
I have tried moving the unit to different areas of house to see if temperature change effects the issues but it does nto Any ideas??
