How do i go about replacing drum bearing on WMA40?

I have a Hotpoint WMA40 the drum bearing has failed. I have successfully replaced this bearing on previous models .Do I need to remove the drum to carry out this job. Older models had a removable panel in line with the spider assembly,But the WMA40 does not.

This is Gil Stark answering my own question It is a big job. The drum has to be removed completely, along with the motor. The drum has to be split into two, to access replacement of bearing and seal. If your machine is a few years old I would suggest you replace the door seal whilst it is off .I did mine in the garage to be out of the wifes way,as it will take a couple of days if you have not done one before. If you have to move your machine any distance remove the concrete dampers first as they are quite heavy.Don't be put off by my remarks You can do it all the best
Gil.
