I have a "clunking" in front n/s volvoS80 ?

I have a "clunking" noise in the front near side of my Volvos80. The noise comes when i am in first gear, taking my foot on and off the accelerator very slowly and going over speed bumps slowly. I do not think it is a suspension problem as i have it on flat roads. Thanks

There is a "tube" of rubber att the bottom of the springs, and they tend to crawl up the spring after time,, causing the metal of the spring contact the metal of the springholder to meet, and there you have that annoying sound ( sorry for my bad english)
