petrol was leaking from the carby, scooter goes about 20km and no more, when accerated, it dies out. I did tamper with the exhaust and air box, why doesnt it go over 20km, too much air or not enuff, have i dont something wrong?

man its hard to get a good solution to a problem on here,the reason it runs badly is because you have made a load of holes in the airbox i expect and this will make the bike run weak i.e not enough fuel in the fuel /air mixture block up the holes you have made or make the main jet bigger ok p.s it will not ruin your engine at all it will just make it run shitty.

You need to put back to standard. Sounds as though you tried to derestict it but not the right way. You will damage the negine if you have not done it right.
