Fixed by R Brown. - Remove single srew located behind hose clip by using long blade screw driver to reach recessed screw. Tap handle just above the 'Bag Full' indicator with palm of your hand to slide the handle Front to Rear to remove. (This may need a good slap). Remove two srews located inside the dust bag space holding the cable connector and switch cover. You will see the connectorblock inside. Cut the cable at a suitable point and use the twin 5amp connector block to connect the new or shortened cable. Ensure the cable is held in the cable grip and not trapped when replacing the cover, and that the Min-Max slider engages correctly with its peg. This is impossible to see, so make a scratch mark to align with. Check dust bag cover clicks into place before sliding the handle back at the top and screwing into place.
