how do i find out why my transit 80 does not charge?

my transit 80 does not hold a charge even when the battery has been charged overnight any clues thanks

Sounds like a new battery is needed. If you can start it put a voltmeter across the battery terminals and if the alternator is OK you should get a reading in the order of 14.5v if not then your alternator is goosed.
