is it possible to replace bernina capacitor with a generic one?
hello expert, the capacitor on my bernina 830 has burnt out. the part is discontinued, would it be possible to replace it with an equivalent by a professional.

I have difficulty obtaining the capacitors of the correct value and size to fit within the motor housing.

No problem - just make sure that the replacement has the same value in microfarads (uf) and the same working voltage and all will be fine. Observe the polarity!
